Morgaon Mayureshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, located in the town of Morgaon in the Pune district of Maharashtra, India. It is believed to be the first of the Ashtavinayak temples, a pilgrimage circuit of eight Ganesha temples in the state of Maharashtra. The temple of Morgaon Mayureshwar is said to have been built during the 14th century by the Yadava dynasty. The idol of Lord Ganesha in the temple is known as Mayureshwar and has a peacock as his vehicle, which is considered rare. The temple attracts a large number of devotees during the annual Ganesh Ch aturthi festiva l
